Day Out In London

For those of you that have read my Blog before, you will know that I like Harry Potter, I also like Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who the list could go on and on! Much like when I went to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London When I visited the Sherlock Holmes museum in London I took lots of pictures. However The Sherlock Holmes museum is much smaller, so to not give away spoilers for those of you who would like to go, I will post only a few pictures of it.

Taken with Instagram, the guard outside 221B

They had oil lamps that were actually used in this very house because it was a house before it was a Museum!

So that was my Attempt at not Ruining it for you in case you want to go and see it for yourself because personally I really don't like spoilers. But if you would like to see more pictures from inside comment saying you would and I will happily do a post on it! However 221B was not the only place I visited when I went to London.

Also in London I went to Tower Bridge and walked along the river to Westminster. I did this last time I went to London and It didn't seem as long of a walk this time to last time. We stopped at EAT for a drink half way there. It was very busy though, it was a Sunday in February half term so I didn't expect it to be that busy. But it was all happening on South Bank that day!

The Shard, The tallest Building in Europe (I think)

This is where the Mayor of London Boris Johnson works

The Gherkin and possibly part of cannery wharf and the Tower of London

Tower Bridge, the bridge opens in the middle to let large ships through

Well to be honest this picture doesn't really need a caption, this is a man performing in the river Thames.

I love this, the tide was out and people were doing all sorts of things on the small beeches that were appearing. this one had sand sculptures on but they had made this and started the next one when we got there!

Here is the view of the Bridge outside of Westminster, I couldn't get a picture going the other way because the lighting was all wrong and there was a huge busy road that we would have had to cross

Taken with Instagram. This shows how busy South Bank was! This was actually taken outside Jubilee toilets which are very fancy and have their own facebook page!

So that was my day out in London! I am very sorry it has taken so long for me to make this blog post but I am winding up to my final exams for my A-Levels so I am extremely busy at the moment. So please bear with me until my exams are over then their will be more frequent posts. Thank You!
