Hamsterley Forest

A couple of weekends ago I went to Hamsterley Forest. In Hamsterly you can go walking, mountain biking, have a picnic, there is a children's adventure play area and there are some children's trails. Each walking and mountain biking trail varies in length and difficulty. It is a very pretty place to visit. It also includes a forest drive. Which has some nice views. However we did the orange walk (I think) However due to the fact it was very windy and very cold as it was early February we didn't stop very often to take pictures. So these are the ones that I took!

the path that we walked on for about a mile

A small stream that we found

There were the cutest calf's near the car parks at the end of the walk (i love cows)

On the walk that we did there was a totem pole kind of thing which had three different faces on. So you may be wondering why there are only two pictures. Well basically the picture didn't save in the right format and it wouldn't upload to cut a long story short! But it was really cool because it was made up of a lot of individual ones and if you stood in the wrong place you couldn't see them. Also they each had individual names but I can't remember what they were called. But If you ever get the chance to go you should because it is very pretty and there is a lot to do.
